Residents: Seniors, 10% formerly experiencing homelessness

In 2020, the Uniform Land Use Review Procedure (ULURP) application was certified for Settlement Housing’s Weeksville Place project—an eight-story building comprising 45 units for seniors, families living in shelters and other lower income tenants. The project, awarded through HPD’s Neighborhood Construction Program, is located on Prospect Place in the Weeksville section of Brooklyn. Designed by Edelman Sultan Knox Wood / Architects, we are partnering with The Beechwood Organization on this new housing development located near our existing Crown Heights properties. The project is set to close and break ground in 2022.
