Graikelis (Kelly) Morales Joins As Chief Operating Officer
We’re thrilled to welcome Graikelis “Kelly” Morales as our new Chief Operating Officer at Settlement Housing Fund. Kelly joined us on March 17th, bringing more than 20 years of experience in business operations, strategic planning, and human resources, rooted in mission-driven work across the nonprofit and affordable housing sectors.
Kelly’s journey in community-based work began over 30 years ago as a Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) participant at RiseBoro Community Partnership. That early opportunity, funded by the City of New York, sparked a lifelong commitment to service, equity, and organizational excellence. Over the years, she advanced through a range of roles at RiseBoro, from frontline service in the Education Division to HR leadership, eventually serving as Chief Operating Officer. As COO, Kelly played a pivotal part in strengthening cash flow, streamlining administrative processes, implementing centralized procurement, and enhancing internal controls and accountability across HR, IT, Finance, and Real Estate. She has successfully guided organizations through complex transformations with a focus on operational excellence, financial sustainability, and inclusive workplace culture.
Kelly is known for leading with purpose and driving results. She brings to Settlement Housing Fund a deep commitment to building strong, efficient systems and nurturing positive, high-performing teams. Her well-rounded expertise in HR, finance, operations and real estate makes her a valuable partner in advancing our mission and impact.
